Another win for women craftworkers! The International Masonry Training and Education Foundation has introduced a paid maternity disability benefit to support pregnant women craftworkers represented by @IUBAC. The benefit allows BAC craftworkers up to a total 26 weeks of disability benefit for weeks they are unable to work at the trade because of their pregnancy and after delivery. https://bit.ly/3HPVNcF

Union construction jobs with @IUBAC are welcoming to all and offer family-sustaining wages and benefits. Under IMTEF’s new maternity benefit, pregnant women and new mothers represented by @IUBAC can receive $600 a week for weeks they are unable to work at the trade because of their pregnancy and after delivery.
